Summary

Kubuntu has a history of being KDE / Qt oriented, possibly at the expense of some interoperability with non Qt based applications. This release however provides a very smooth experience for Qt and Gtk applications alike. Although a relatively heavy resource user it still feels lighter than vanilla Ubuntu.
