Hi RATTLEBACKIf the crashing is random then it could be a difficult one to nail down, the problem sounds like it could be hardware rather than a software issue.
It might be worth trying running a live disc for a while to see if the problem persists, if it does then it could be overheating or maybe a faulty memory stick or some other physical issue.
Do you have a live disc you can try ?
