I`m not sure if this will work, but when I have had the occasional problem with a locked folder I opened it as root and ctrl+c and ctrl+v it onto the desktop (for example). Can you change the permissions of the file in the file properties? Right...

Can you change the permissions of the file in the file properties? Right click and choose properties/permissions.It can`t do any damage to try it anyway.
