Re: Locked files on USB sticks in Linux Mint 19.3

If Tony doesn't mind me interrupting.....

1. Look for a file that you know is Read-only.
2. Right-click on it.
3. Select "Properties".
4. In the window that appears, select the "Permissions" tab.
5. Look at the box opposite "Access" (just your access): Does it say "Read only"?
6. If so, then click on that box and select "Read and write".
7. Click "Close".
8. Check that you can write to (modify) the file.
