I tried that yesterday and again just now, but both themes are light for some reason.

Mmm, when you select SociWT there is a dropdown listing "Style1" or "Style2" .. 1 is dark (default) 2 is light ... 

I must have missed something. SociWT didn't work for me. It stayed resolutely light. I'll have another look but probably not tonight. Work tomorrow..Thanks...

Yeah, I tried SociWT for a bit, little too dark for my taste although a bit smoother than Evolution. You can lookup 2.1 compatible themes on the SMF site...
